March 3rd - Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Point Lighthouse

After breakfast at our hotel, we divide into groups for today’s sightseeing. Transfer to the Victoria & Alfred waterfront this morning to board helicopters for our birds-eye tour along the Atlantic seaboard and where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. After a 40 minute flight, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then ride a funicular up to see the old Cape Point Lighthouse.

Jackass Penguin Colony

Jackass Penguin Colony

This afternoon, drive back to Cape Town, stopping at Boulders Beach to see a charming colony of Jackass penguins, known for their donkey-like braying call. Or get an early start (weather dependent) and ride a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a breathtaking view of greater Cape Town and the Atlantic. After taking in the view from the top, join the others on today’s tour. Enjoy dinner tonight at your pre-selected dining option - a catered meal at a local estate or á la carte in the hotel.
